I was in the area and decided to stop by Machapresso, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with cold foam, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced, refreshing, and one of the best matcha drinks I’ve had. 🍓🍵 I also tried the Biscoff dessert, and it was so yummy! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and was a great pairing with the matcha. The café itself has such a cute, cozy atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. It was definitely worth the trip, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you’re a matcha lover or looking for a great café to visit!

The drinks here were disappointing. I tried both the matcha latte and the hojicha latte, and they were overly milky and tasted watered down. That said, I would definitely come back for the desserts. The matcha tart and hojicha tart were both excellent, and the matcha parfait was delicious as well. The black sesame basq cheesecake was okay, it didnt have as strong of a black sesame flavor that I was hoping for. If you're visiting, I'd recommend skipping the drinks and just stopping for dessert.

Heard great things about this place so I came to try, and it was really nice! I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with a scoop of level 2 matcha ice cream, as well as a the matcha strawberry tart. The latte was great, and so was he strawberry puree, but the ice cream was kind of lacking and tasted like bitter ice (maybe cuz I chose level 2). For the tart, it was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend, but the $7.50 was just a bit pricey for the size that it was. Overall, it was a great place with a modern atmosphere and kind service; a great way to spend some time catching up with friends!

Machapresso seriously surprised me. Didn’t expect to find matcha this good in NJ. The Hojicha Latte Float was my favorite — roasted tea with hojicha ice cream on top. I’d recommend no added sugar since the ice cream already balances the bitterness perfectly. The Ube Matcha Latte looked beautiful and tasted smooth without being overly sweet. The Biscoff Matcha Latte is good if you want something more dessert-like. Desserts were solid too. The matcha basque cheesecake was rich but not heavy, and the parfait was loaded with different textures. I also liked that you can sample and choose different matcha ice cream intensity levels. Big, clean space with lots of seating. It gets crowded on weekends though.

It’s rare to find a matcha place with both a great environment and delicious flavors! They offer a wide variety of matcha drinks, and the gelato comes in different grades of matcha, making it very beginner-friendly. Definitely a place I will bring my friend visit again!
